Summer 2006 : Summer in Texas was hot as expected. We did lots of swimming. Natalya and Vienne (and Mommy) took swimming lessons. Natalya did very well and will probably earn her fins next summer. We took a trip to Dallas and Cousin Alex came to visit. Vienne turned 2 and we celebrated with a luau.

Vienne's 2nd Birthday Celebration : Our little girl is 2! We celebrated with a luau and hula (hoop) dancing, yummy cake, family and friends, and lots of fun.

Spring 2006 : What a busy Spring we had. Vienne is taking gymnastics with Mommy and is sommersaulting her way to future Olympic medal. Vienne can almost count to 20, loves to sing, loves to jump in the pool, and is always moving. She really wants to be right where Natalya is at every moment. Look out! She'll be 2 years old in a few weeks. Natalya continued to played soccer with the Mustangs and Vienne cheered her on. Natalya graduated from preschool. We celebrated with a ceremony and "Pomp and Circumstance". It was another proud moment for Mommy and Daddy and just reminds us again how fast they grow up. Natalya is very ready for kindergarten. She already knows how to count by 5's and 10's, can write and read very well, and when she grows up she wants to be a "dinosaur scientist and dolphin trainer." We're ready for summer.

Winter 2005-06 : Winter is always full of wonderful things. We had a great Christmas. Auntie Steph and Tommy came home to help us celebrate. Vienne still had little understanding of what was going on but she picked it up quickly. Natalya loved every moment of it. Mommy and Natalya even went to our first Nutcracker performance together. Vienne turned 18 months without slowing down. She's definitely our little fireball full of energy. Natalya turned 5! We celebrated with a pirate party. Natalya is patiently waiting for snow... Not so likely in South Texas.

Natalya's 5 Year Portraits : Our sweet Angel turned 5! We had a wonderful celebration with lots of fun, family, and friends surrounding us. Natalya's favorites at 5 are horses, watching National Velvet, dressing up, chocolate, swinging, and going to school. Natalya is so sweet and bright and is a wonderful big sister. She refuses to stay five so I guess we'll look forward to all of the wonderful things that Natalya's next year of life offers.

Halloween 2005 : Natalya had the fun idea to be a tiger tamer this year. So, appropriately, Vienne had to be a tiger. To go along the the circus theme, Mommy was a popcorn seller and Daddy was an elephant. Natalya was all about the loot this year. Vienne just went along for the ride. She couldn't figure out why everyone opened the door but wouldn't let her in. We visited our usual pumpkin patch and had lots of fun. Vienne loved a baby goat there and of course Natalya loved the horses.

Vienne is 1 year old! : Vienne's first birthday celebration included a christening and a birthday party in California. Vienne had such a great time. She swam a little, ate lots of cake, and even learned to walk. Natalya is still the proud big sister.
